MATH CLUB FOR OLYMPIC COMPETITIONS
The Math Olympiad Club focuses on preparing students for high-level mathematical events, such as the National Math Olympiad, the Grand Prix of Mathematics, the American Math Competition, and the Caribou Contests, among other national and international competitions. These tournaments, divided into categories, test students' problem-solving skills. The problems emphasize ingenuity, logical and critical thinking, and the ability to apply that knowledge, rather than simply the quantity of knowledge itself.
Specific objectives:
- To help students develop their logical thinking and reasoning skills.
- Stimulate their imagination and creativity.
- Encourage the pursuit of excellence through perseverance and effort.
- Create a learning culture where participants value the advantages of learning.
- Develop and enhance mathematical skills.
- Promote and participate in local and international events.
